PAF VCAS lauds City nazim for cleanliness

KARACHI: Pakistan Air Force’s Vice Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Hifazat Ullah Khan has complimented City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal for his outstanding efforts to control the free movement of birds around the PAF airfields in the city especially during the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

In a compliment letter to City Nazim, he has said that the PAF in her role as the sentinel of the nation against the external and internal challenges, strives continuously to preserve its combating potential and the effective measures that the city nazim had instituted in support of safe operations of the PAF have contributed immensely in fulfillment of this objective.

He expressed hope that the proactive approach of the city nazim supporting the PAF to fight the problem of birds around its airfields in the city would continue.

This may be noted that City District Government Karachi has improved sanitation condition in the city and lifted and transferred heaps of garbage and domestic waste to landfill sites.

The burial of offal kept the city clean during Eid days and protected the airplanes from being destroyed due to birds around the airfields and airport.
