KARACHI: National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced that specific NADRA Swift Registration Centers (SRC) would remain open on weekly holidays from 9 am to 5 pm to ensure speedy registration of the citizens.
In this regard, NADRA Deputy Chairman Tariq Malik has issued necessary instructions to NADRA SRCs including North Nazimabad SRC, Awami Markaz SRC, Aisha Manzil SRC, SITE West SRC, Safoora Goth SRC, Malir SRC, Baldia-1 SRC and Balidia-2 SRC to keep functioning on Sunday.
Malik has warned SRC personnel concerned of stern disciplinary action in case of any complaint. He has been since last month on surprise visits of notified SRCs to visualize and ascertain the progress of these SRCs in the city.
Malik has termed these initiatives in line with other solutions to provide maximum facility to citizens and has added that the decision would help reduce the rush on working days and would also provide an opportunity to employed people of the city to proceed for the Computerized National Identity Cards, which seems cumbersome to them on working days.
