KARACHI: City’s development as the Haq Parast leadership promised would continue because this is directly linked to Pakistan’s prosperity and ensures job opportunities to millions of people that hail from every corner of the country.

City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal expressed these views on the occasion of inauguration of 14 development projects in Landhi.

These development projects included 11 small and larger road, two mini hospitals, one for maternal and child care while the other with high-tech equipments for the general treatment and one water pumping station for 500000 gallons water supply.

Kamal said that the feuds and the monarchs of dynasty politics have ruined the country. They send their children abroad for higher education while they deliberately keep people of their constituencies in a state of being illiterate so that feud could pave ways for their offspring for rule next to them.

Kamal said that there was only just one way out to get rid of these feuds and allow 98 percent of country’s population to get direct access to modern facilities of health, education and communication.

Kamal said that this could only happen only when the Pragmatic philosophy of Muttahidda Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussein was adopted because it ensures speedy development and provision of equal opportunities without any discrimination.

Kamal said that only MQM provides guarantee for fulfillment of public responsibilities while not a single legislator could dare involve in dirty business of corruption. This happens only because Hussein does not ask for any money from those he picked from streets and middle class of society and sent to assemblies.

Kamal said that all the legislators work for the people in return and stand committed to Hussein’s philosophy, which also monitors their performances constantly and harshly.

Kamal remarked that the American or the Indian could not be blamed for plunder of national exchequer as only those who have been champion of the dynasty rule in the country looted the wealth of the country.

In reply to a question, Kamal said that the reason for delay in completing the loop at Jail Chowrangi under Signal free Corridor-III was that the City District Government Karachi was fast completing a high rise building inside the Central Prison to shift the prisoners from barracks into that building. As soon as the building’s two initial floors were completed, the construction of the loop would be commenced, which would be completed in weeks.

Kamal said that it was the Haq Parast leadership of CDGK that opened new avenues for the outskirts of the city. Landhi and Korangi were once supposed to be outskirts but now these areas have automatically become part of main city especially after the Malir River Bridge became functional. It has shortened the passage to Shahra-e Faisal and Jinnah International Airport as that of only 10 minutes drive.

Kamal said that these areas had been closed for more than 12 years and were declared as No Go areas. However, the Haq Parast leadership, MNAs, Senators, MPAs, City Nazim, Town and Union Council Nazims and people of these areas have stood and ensured developments. Now these areas have state-of-the-art sports stadium and have hosted first class cricket matches, which were once thought impossible.

Kamal also ensured that facilities he had established such as hospitals, Karachi institute of Heart Diseases, Model Schools, Parks and others would face no threat of paucity of funds for medicines or other operational tools because these facilities have been backed by sound home work.

Kamal also inaugurated main Landhi thoroughfare, which the CDGK has renamed after renowned Urdu poet and intellectual, late Khalid Alig.

Salient Features: Water Pumping Station: Water pumping station has been established in sector 4-A in Shaikh Khalid Colony, Landhi Town. This water pumping stations would ensure supply of water to tail end of the area, as it has been equipped with two giant turbines. This water station has been established with special funds reserved for MNA Syed Asif Hasnain.
Baldia Dispensaries: These dispensaries have been established with cost of Rs 5.5 million. On the occasion of inauguration of one of these dispensaries, City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal issued orders for establishment of an operation theatre to facilitate those expectant mothers in need of caesarean intervention.
